Está hecha a base de un mineral con propiedades únicas. Su estabilidad y micro porosidad la hacen el medio de filtración perfecto para prácticamente cualquier aplicación en la industria de la purificación de agua y tratamiento de aguas residuales.
Está demostrado que Crystalum brinda una mejor claridad en el agua, permite un mayor flujo y brinda una menor caída de presión. Por ello, es capaz de ofrecer mejor desempeño como medio filtrante en comparación con la arena sílica, la antracita, y la combinación de ellas.

Al utilizar la zeolita Crystalum, se elimina la necesidad de utilizar dos o más medios filtrantes, ya que cubre las especificaciones de darle profundidad a la cama de filtrado, y de retener partículas de hasta 5 micras.
